PIECE E - BrookWright International Brass Band Composer Competition 2022
After much deliberation, the five finalists of the BrookWright International Brass Band Composer Competition 2022 have been decided by our esteemed panel of judges, James Curnow, Dr. Liz Lane and Paul Hindmarsh. There were some 64 entries representing 10 different countries.
With viewers offered the opportunity to vote for their favourite piece, voting closed at noon US Central Time on Friday 18th November 2022. The Overall winner, decided by our judges, Liz Lane, James Curnow and Paul Hindmarsh, was Christopher Cook with his work 'Excursion'. The winner of the Public Commendation Prize as voted by viewers was Thibaut Bruniaux with 'Summer Vibes'.
