Описание: Reference is to C.G. Jung Letters, Volume I, P. 475, Published by Princeton University Press. Responding to a letter from Mr. B.V. Raman, publisher of The Astrological Magazine, self-described as India’s leading cultural monthly. This letter is dated September 6, 1947.

02:35—“This originally gave rise to the idea that these factors derive from the stars, whereas they are merely in a relation of synchronicity with them.”
02:47—“I admit that this throws a peculiar light on the structure of the human mind.”
02:54—Misses statistical method in astrological literature.

Definition: “Synchronism” in psychoanalysis: “The simultaneous occurrence of causally unrelated events and the belief that the simultaneity has meaning beyond mere coincidence.” Dr. Jung’s essay is, “Synchronicity: An Acausal Connecting Principle.”
