The Lae City Authority has supported 12 youth groups and a church in Lae with 13-brand new 75-HORSEPOWER banana boats.
The 13 boats were part of twenty purchased at a cost of K1 million for the first SME rollout program in the city.
A Financial Management course is being planned for the youth groups before they venture into small businesses using the boats.
