The method of prayer we are using is called 𝐋𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐚 (Divine Reading). This is an ancient prayer of the Church where we have the opportunity to encounter the Lord through the scriptures. This type of prayer is like a conversation with a friend. Tell the Lord what is on your mind and heart, then leave room for God to respond to you. 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 (𝐇𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐬 𝟒:𝟏𝟐). 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲!

Steps of Lectio Divina:
1. Read Slowly
2. Meditate & Reflect -- what stands out to you?
3. Pray & Respond -- what can you say to God in response?
4. Contemplate & Rest -- leave silence and space for God to respond to you
