Before I revamped my YouTube channel, this was by far my most popular cover. Since that revamp, I've been redoing all my old videos in the newer synthesia format. One problem though. For this arrangement I felt like my improv didn't do the cover justice. I was even a little embarrassed about it. Arranging for jazz piano is not my thing. So what did I do? I reached out to one of my all-time favorite YouTubers ‪@hesangasong‬ to collaborate with me, and see if he could write an improv to replace mine. And oh boy did he deliver! As aforementioned, jazz piano is not my thing. It took me a whopping 17 months to learn after he sent me the sheet music! But he was patient and I eventually got it done! I was originally hoping to have it complete before the Super Mario Movie. For the most part I played his arrangement as written; there are some parts that I have missed a note or two (skill issue).
