Walking the Caribbean city of Willemstad in Curaçao

Описание: In this video we take a walk through midday Curaçao, an island in the Caribbean, which is part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
We start off with a popular entry point to Willemstad, the Eastern part of the main city, called Punda (as opposed to the western side called Otrobanda).
The narrow streets separating colourful houses which are often covered with murals or reliefs.
The few restaurants around Punda that remain open all make it worth a visit. Now with a heavy decrease in numbers of tourists visiting, the town is much less bustling as it used to be, eve though there are still cruise ships coming in fairly frequently to the port on the other side of the bridge (shown towards the of the video).

After doing a round inside Punda we go on the outside to see the large highway bridge.
We then walk by the ferry port which gets used when the Queen Emma Bridge is open.
Shortly after we take a look at the Heaets feature by XXX and slowly walk through the pontoon bridge that gently sways on water.
We turn towards the Rif Fort which has a few good places to eat or during coffee as well as a platform all around the old fort walls. Here we peek into an infinity pool of a nearby 5 star resort and proceed down from the fort wall.
Walking though the arch takes us to a few stores and onto Rennaisance Park and the cruise liner terminals where we end our walk.
