Big news for biodiversity in Ontario!
Today, the Nature Conservancy of Canada announced the protection of nearly 350 hectares in the Frontenac Arch, a vital ecological corridor connecting the Algonquin Highlands to the Adirondack Mountains.
This milestone is more than a land securement, it's a powerful example of what’s possible when strategic partnerships, long-term vision, and collective action come together to protect nature.
These newly protected lands will safeguard critical habitats, store carbon and support climate solutions, and strengthen connectivity for wildlife across borders.
This achievement was made possible thanks to the generous support of:
