Friends on Fuel ~ Helping Garrett Drive a BB/FC to a Car Show - What Could POSSIBLY Go Wrong?!!

Описание: In addition to the A/Fuel Car that Garrett maintains and drives, he also has in his shop the GK Machine BB/FC (Blown Alcohol Nostalgia Funny Car) which he also maintains and drives. The BB/FC was entered in the "18th Annual Winter Rod & Speed Show", held at the Fairgrounds in Albany, Oregon, which began yesterday - January 17, 2025. Clearly having inhaled WAY too many Nitro fumes, Garrett decided that the best plan was to simply drive the Funny Car to the Car Show........ On the city streets of Albany. Who needs a stinking trailer?!!

Along with several of my crew who work on our A/Fuel Car, we helped Garrett make this a reality yesterday. This video will show our trip from his shop to the Fairgrounds as he followed me in my Pickup, driving a Blown Alcohol Funny Car in traffic next to Hyundais, Kias, and even a few American-made pickups. Good times!!

In our world of Nitro Drag Racing, it's truly - Enemies For 5 Seconds - Friends For Life. This is a perfect example - Garrett Bateman drives a Whoop Ass A/Fuel Car owned by Rick Henkleman - So we compete. While we are indeed mortal enemies for 5 seconds when racing each other, once we cross the finish line, we'd each pull Parts off of our Car to help the other if they won and needed the help.
