Up Hill Will takes on the Narrows Trail at Laurel River Lake in Kentucky—completely unprepared, racing daylight, and quickly realizing this ride was about to go sideways. As the sun dropped, the trail disappeared into darkness, the exposure got real, and one wrong move nearly sent me off a cliff.

No lights. No clear line. No backup plan.

This ride turned into a fight to stay upright, trust instincts, and survive a trail I could barely see. What started as an after-hours adventure turned into one of the sketchiest moments I’ve had on a bike.

If you’ve ever underestimated a trail, chased daylight, or found yourself riding blind—this one’s for you.
