Welcome to the Annual Exhibition of the Royal Society of British Artists, an exciting and expansive survey of contemporary art practice.
We spoke to two artists in their studios about their work, their practice, and their involvement in this year’s exhibition, as well as what the RBA represents today.
The Society’s members, among the leading artists in the UK and beyond, present recent works alongside non-members, selected from thousands of entries. The annual exhibition promises to deliver audiences a show eclectic in medium and subject but consistent in ambition and quality.
Founded in 1823, the RBA continues to support and showcase artists working across different media and approaches. The exhibition is accompanied by a programme of events, including a talk with Ken Nwadiogbu, recipient of the RBA Rome Scholarship, and features major awards such as the £10,000 Huaicun Zhang Award.
