Chinese Diesel Heater heating my home With Battery Backup! Slimline battery install, neat and tidy!

Описание: This is my installation of a battery backup for my Diesel Heater.
Its powered from a 12v 13.5amp transformer that i managed to find in the Chinese markets of AliExress, a great place place to find everything you need for tinkering!
The Battery is 7.2ah and is plenty to keep the heater running if the power goes off. The heater has an inbuilt function that monitors the battery level and if the battery level starts to drop the heater with shut itself down.
I'm aware that with only a 7.2ah battery i wont be able to start the heater from the battery but thats ok as i only need it to keep it running if the power should go off.
The transformer is mounted in a metal enclosure and has earth fault lead connected for protection.
Battery came from Amazon but can be purchased from lots of retailers on line.
Transformer cost is £28 and the battery is £17 Total of £45! Cheaper than a bulky leisure battery and charger 👌👌
Metal enclosure box 300x200x90mm was salvaged from another project but cost around £35 upwards but would be ok in a Plastic enclosure and the cost is around £15 upwards.
