Mike taught and performed at Folkcraft Instruments on 4/9/2016, and graciously applied his frailing-style banjo skills to a Folkcraft LAP-JO (after everyone had gone home at the end of the day). Mike preferred the sound of a "damped" head (with something soft stuffed between the coordinator bars and the head) but when we recorded this video (at the end of a day of teaching and performing) we forgot to damp the head. Nice bright sound, but too bright for the style Mike was using for this demonstration.
