Central Theme: Waza no kankyū - how to generate powerful techniques by contraction and expansion, twisting and unwinding. Learn more about those fundamentals in Kihon and Kata such as Jion.

330 Minutes of Karate training, divided into 5 classes.
Central Theme: Shodō and Karate fundamentals such as dynamic, timing and hip movement.

This video was taken during Shinji Akita´s Summer Course in August 2020 in his Sakuragaoka Dojo in Limburg. Fortunately, many restrictions due to the Corona pandemic have been lifted and it was possible to get together for training and enjoy each others company in "the real world". Due to the special circumstances, the focus was on Kihon and Kata this time... How to make the hips more flexible, how to rotate them... Strengthening the core was another key topic - please have a look yourself...
