Faith was constant in Jesus’ ministry and in the lives of biblical heroes. It healed the Centurion’s servant, restored the woman with haemorrhage, allowed Peter to walk on water, and raised Lazarus. Abraham obeyed God by offering Isaac. Noah built the ark before the rain fell. Daniel prayed despite lions. Paul endured persecution and shipwrecks. Faith calls us to act with courage amid fear, obedience amid uncertainty, and persistence amid opposition. Even a mustard seed of genuine faith can accomplish the impossible.
In today's reflection, Rev. Fr. Peter Omezi asks us to fan our faith into flame: forgive, serve, show kindness, draw closer to God, visit the lonely, and act in humble obedience. Even the smallest faith has power beyond measure.
May God increase our faith and bless the works of our hands today and forever. Amen
