We look at a DTF transfer after it’s pressed onto the shirt under a macro lens to see what the finished product really looks like:
Fine lines, small text, and edge sharpness
Where details start to break down (and why)
Texture/coverage that impacts “hand feel”
An ad-hoc durability check: scrape/scratch test to see what it takes to damage the print
The point isn’t to be overly scientific—it’s to give you an honest, up-close view of the final stage, so you can make better artwork + design decisions (and avoid surprises after pressing).
