In this video robin from rbn talks about the latest rumor or leak regarding nvidia geforce rtx 2060 and amd navi potential graphics card and release date. What price can we expect and will nvidia be launching more video cards in this new 11 series (gtx 1100 series) lineup such as 1150, 1150 ti, 1170, 1180? Will they be using the 11 series naming or will they call these new cards 1660, 1660 ti, 1650, 1670? Im going to follow up this video as soon as we know more, and I will be testing these new cards when they reach public release. Release date is expected to be around ces 2019 – in January 2019.

As for amd navi, there has been a ton of news lately regarding amd next gen gpus releasing in q1 2019. Rumors point towards a full release of the higher end navi gpu video cards in April/may 2019, but three cards are expected to release by the end of January right after ces. These three cards include two entry-level graphics cards and one mid-range card. What these cards will be we don’t know yet.

According to recent rumors from adoredtv, amd is planning on launching thee very interesting gpus in the amd navi lineup: rx 3060, 3070 and 3080.
Specs, release date and price on these cards:
Radeon rx 3060 (navi 12) for $129.99 usd with 4gigabyte of gddr6 memory at 75w tdp (no 6-pin) = rx 58 (will compete vs gtx 2050/1060

Radeon rx 3070 (navi 12) for $200 dollars with 8 gigabytes of gddr6 at 120w tdp = vega 56 and will compete vs gtx 2060/1070.
and a radeon rx 3080 (navi 10) for $250 dollars with 8 gigabytes of gddr6 at 150w tdp that would essensially performance like a vega 64 + 15% compete vs gtx 1080
Regarding rtx 2060:
The RTX 2060 is a mid-range model replacing GTX 1060 from Pascal architecture. Throughout Reviewers Guide, NVIDIA claims it will offer comparable performance to GeForce GTX 1070 Ti.

According to the same guide, RTX 2060 is said to provide playable experience in Battlefield V with ray tracing enabled (1080p):

Battlefield V: RT Off: 90 FPS
Battlefield V: RT On + DLSS Off: 65 FPS
Battlefield V: RT On + DLSS On: 88 FPS
The GeForce RTX 2060 will be introduced on January 7th at the price of 349 USD (same price for custom and Founders Edition cards). The card will be bundled with Battlefield V or Anthem for free. The slowest Turing model will be available in stores starting from January 15th.

According to videocardz.com regarding gtx 1160:
“NVIDIA would split branding into GeForce RTX and GeForce GTX series, the former would stick to 20xx naming scheme, while the latter would use 11xx. This is partially what some GPU enthusiasts were expecting months ago.
The new series would still feature Turing GPUs, but their different variants. It is said that GeForce RTX 2060 will feature TU106-200 GPU, while the GeForce GTX 1160 would feature TU116 instead.
The GeForce GTX 1660 Ti marketing material posted by Expreview mentions ‘Turing Shaders’, instead of ‘Ray Tracing’, which should remain exclusive to RTX series.”

Nvidia 20 series:
In August 2018, Nvidia announced the GeForce successor to Pascal. The new microarchitecture name was revealed as "Turing" at the Siggraph 2018 conference. This new GPU microarchitecture is aimed to accelerate the real-time ray tracing support and AI Inferencing. It features a new Ray Tracing unit (RT Core) which can dedicate processors to the ray tracing in hardware. It supports the DXR extension in Microsoft DirectX 12. Nvidia claims the new architecture is up to 25 times faster than Pascal.
