The Marine Drive police have filed a complaint against former Police Commissioner and current DG home guard Param Bir Singh for extortion along with Mumbai Police DCP Akhbar Pathan. According to the complaint, Singh allegedly sought Rs 15 crore from the complainant through a DCP-rank police officer and four other cops. Eight people are named in the FIR which includes six police officers and two citizens who have been arrested in connection with the case. On the allegation of a serving police officer from Akola, he was also charged under the Atrocities Act in April of this year. To know more watch the video!
