Student commits suicide at Lovely Professional University at Jalandhar, Punjab. This has triggered a massive stir as students demonstrated inside the university. The student also left a suicide note at site of the death with multiple reasons listed for the extreme step. This comes shortly after the whole Chandigarh MMS Scandal in which hundreds of students showed up to protest against the college authorities.
