Описание: The Villa Park Chamber of Commerce under the direction of Alesia Bailey held the annual Joyful Traditions celebration on the Illinois Prairie Path just west of Ardmore Avenue. Santa Claus arrived with the Village President Deborah Bullwinkel to light the Christmas tree just west of Ardmore Avenue. Santa then went to the Rugaard Gazebo to visit with Villa Park families and have photos taken. A large tent was placed along the Prairie Path to serve food from VFW Post 2801, Firehouse Subs, Stulgin's Pub, Kuppy's Bakery and more. A trolley bus ran between the gazebo and the Villa Park Museum at Villa Avenue. Carol Markus narrated the ride from the Villa Park Historic Society. Carollers from Willowbrook High School sang holiday favorites while rides on a horse drawn carriage rode around town. Visitors also took part in making smores in a fire pit compliments of Village Trustee Chris Aiello.
