How lucky we were to be able to reach an area of the Thames which is generally out of reach at the moment. It meant we were able to pick up all sorts of little treasures which have laid undiscovered for a very long time. There seemed to be finds related to quite a few vices - alcohol, gambling and tobacco! During this outing Simon Bourne of Si-Finds and I went out with Duncan and Frank of the Maritime Volunteer Service. Do look them up to see what they do and if you're in London and would like to learn how to drive a boat, they might be exactly the people you are looking for. Their website is here:-
