The 15-page report, released early Saturday by the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB), states that both fuel control switches transitioned to the 'CUTOFF' position with just a one-second gap—shutting down the engines and triggering a devastating crash.

Black box recordings from the cockpit reveal a moment of confusion between the pilots. One is heard asking, “Why did you cut off?” The other replies, “I didn’t.”
