Maria's sincere love of food led her on a journey around the world. She returned to her homeland, South Africa, to start her own micro dairy using the principle of Slow Food and humane treatment of her dairy herd. She only milks her cows once a day, and keep the calves with their mothers. We were inspired by her love of making quality products, not only does she treat her animals with love and care, she puts in the extra effort to make quality food, the traditional way.
