Is Pi 3.141 or Golden Pi 3.144?

Описание: In this video I discuss some results that aim at trying to decipher if the value of pi is 3.141... or 3.144..., which derived from 4/√phi. This study is not attempting to detrimental the precise value of pi, but instead it attempts to see which of the two values are closer to representing the circumference of a circle wth a 1000 unit diameter.

My interest in this study came form watching Harry Lear's presentations where he demonstrates that pi is 3.144 in tests where he physically measures the circumference of a disc that has a 1000mm diameter with precise instruments, more on his work and demonstrations can be found at the link below.

Although, I'm not able to actually measure the circumference the way he did using Geogebra software, I still applied some of the same concepts by creating a 1000 unit diameter circle, but took a different approach to the problem with the limitations of the software, I decided to stem the using 1 radius around the circumference of the circle to see what result would emerge.

What I present here is more inquisitive into trying to discover what the true value of pi is, and I acknowledge that my method may be flawed, yet nevertheless I still found the results interesting. I'm certainly not attached to the outcome, and hopefully someday conclusive evidence can be scientifically demonstrated that pi is either 3.144... or not. It's is possible that Mr. Lear's work already does that, and it would be great to have multiple ways to verify if from a wide range of other researchers. What I show here does not appear to support the value of pi as 3.144... but that does not mean I'm advocating against it. I'm happy with either value, and would love to know which value it is for certain.
