The first raised transit stop platforms in Canada have been installed right here in Toronto!
The platforms improve accessibility when boarding and leaving streetcars, eliminate drainage/pooling issues in the waiting zone, and make things safer by clearly mark zones for people who bike and those waiting to board streetcars.
