Описание: The Roces M12 or Majestic 13 12 in full, is one of, if not the most iconic skate in rollerblading. It is the the most sold inline skating shell in history and they are still using it today. So do they need to create a new Roces skate or did the just get it right the first time around?

The Roces M12 came from the Roces Ice Skating boot created in 1978. It was then adapted for inline skating in 1981 and they called it The Pro. It was used under various names throughout the years but most famously as the Majestic 12, which came out in 1996.

It quickly became one of the most sought after in-line skates in the 90s, due to a great team, including the likes of Jon Julio, Arlo Eisenberg, Dawn Everett, Randy Spizer and so many more.

The mid 2000s was a pivotal time in aggressive inline skating. There was a change in direction of style, approaches to tricks, fashion, a whole new ethos and the skaters driving this were wearing the Roces M12. All capture in videos like Road to Nowhere, The Meantime from Brandon Negrete and Face The Music.

Just before this was the birth of Valo, from rollerblading icon, Jon Julio. The Valo era of inline skating was phenomenal, the dominated the industry and the skate they use was the Roces Majestic 12.

Julio's relationship with Roces ended weirdly and it felt like he'd been pushed out. Roces then started to drop in profits, got themselves into trouble and ultimately put themselves up for sale in 2020 eventually selling for 3.3 million in 2023.

With some small changes behind the scenes in seem like Roces are on the rise again and guess what? They are still using the M12 but with a few alterations.
