Repairing a Trailer Lift Gate/Ramp (Welding Job)

Описание: A friend of mine needed his trailer lift-gate reworked. It was bending real bad and most of the expanded metal was warped and broken at the welds.
The builders of the trailer put the mesh on the inside of the angle iron and then put the vertical angle iron running down the middle was welding over the expanded metal. But then the expanded metal was only welded about every 8 inches. This was not strong enough for heavy commercial mowers. Also since it was underneath the angle iron it meant that the weight of the mowers were all pushing against the small welds. Also the expanded metal triangles were put on vertically instead of horizontally which meant they did not get the advantage of the raised edge on the expanded metal.
