How to make Masala Pav
If you are from Belgaum you might have probably tasted it at Nath snacks, if not make it and taste it :)
Ingredients
1. Onions- 2 medium size finely chopped
2. Tomato- 2 medium size finely chopped
3. Mix sev- As required
4. Coriander leaves- Fist full
5. Lemon Wedge- 2
6. Garlic Cloves- 3 to 4
7. Red chili powder and chat masala- 1 spoon each
8. Salt to taste
9. Butter- as required
10. Oil- 2tsp
Method
• Heat oil and butter in a frying pan
• Add crushed garlic and sauté till the raw smell disappears
• Add finely chopped onions, sauté till golden brown- save some for garnish.
• Add in the chopped tomatoes and cook for few minutes
• Add salt, chat masala, red chili powder, coriander leaves and little water mix well and cook with the lid closed for 5 minutes.
• Smash the mixture well and cook for another 2 minutes.
• Heat butter on a tawa, slit the pav in to halves and roast on both the sides
• Smear the cooked masala, and top it up with sev, chopped onions and coriander leaves and squeeze lemon and serve hot.
