Next stop is Enchanted Dominion and when we arrive, Ven’s time in this world reaches its end. We do arrive to meet Maleficent but then we end up in a cell where Prince Philip is kept prisoner. Flora, Fauna and Mayweather help free Philip and now both he and Aqua must escape Maleficent’s castle in the Forgotten Mountain. You need Prince Philip so you can jump up and activate switches to open gates. Completing it will net you High Jump.

The boss fight is Maleficent who unleashes all the powers of Hell on us, turning into a dragon. Feels familiar? Unlike the previous battle in KHFM, this one is a bit easier. All you need to do is take Maleficent out. Prince Philip can help you jump onto her so you can deal extra damage. Not to mention using reaction commands to stop her in her tracks. It’s not a hard fight. The most important thing is to be vigilant. That’s all there is.

Defeating Maleficent will net some rewards including the Firestorm Command Style. In the original Sleeping Beauty film, Maleficent is defeated yet in this game, she lives. This is necessary because if she were to go down here, it would be a paradox. Plus she’s a Disney villain, she can endure a lot worse and come out unscathed. Trust me. She has a bigger role to play in the later games. We do earn the Fairy Stars keyblade.

Part 31 is where we head for Radiant Garden and more heartbreak.
