Former senator Antonio “Sonny” Trillanes IV on Tuesday, October 21, refiled a plunder complaint against ex-president Rodrigo Duterte, incumbent senator Bong Go, and several others. The first time he filed this complaint, in 2024, it was dismissed by the ombudsman at that time.
Now that there is a new ombudsman in office, will this plunder complaint, and other cases Trillanes has filed against Duterte and Go, finally prosper?
In this special episode, Trillanes joins Rappler columnist John Nery to talk about the recent cases he filed, and his being instrumental in the crimes against humanity case that Duterte is facing in the International Criminal Court.
