Описание: 3 September 2020 Reach Network hosted a panel with four of its members, all very experienced design researchers: Bas Raijmakers of STBY (UK and the Netherlands), Lekshmy Parameswaran of The Care Lab (Spain and Singapore), Daniel Szuc of Make Meaningful Work (Hong Kong SAR China) and Martin Beyerle of Minds & Makers (Germany). The topic was: A Caring and Meaningful Culture at Work.

It is time to rethink and reimagine a more meaningful world of work, to place care at the centre of our practices, starting with each of us and driving to transform our organisations. Has the COVID pandemic made you look differently at ‘care’? Learn about some implications for you, your team and your organisation.

Many organisations have lost the ability to truly care for their employees, their customers, their stakeholders and the planet. This has happened widely. The pressure to be more efficient and productive has driven out the space for compassion and care across many sectors.

The COVID-19 crisis has reminded many of us of the importance of care in our society and created new opportunities to appreciate new types of care firsthand in our own professional and personal communities. We would like to share some of these stories from around the world, and discuss with you, the participants, your experiences and how to turn these into more caring and meaningful experiences at your places of work, in your teams, offices and organisations.

This one-hour event is hosted by 5 members of the Reach Network for Human Centred Design, from Hong Kong, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Cologne and London. You can submit questions during the session. We like you to join the conversation.
