David Lloyd George negotiates the S bend on the road next to Porthmadog Harbour Station.
The Double Fairlie locomotive is shown departing the station via the Welsh Highland Railway.
It crosses High Street and Britannia Bridge, passes the Llyn Bach lake and heads towards the mountains of Snowdonia.
The road crossing was created to enable the Welsh Highland Railway to Caernarfon to connect to the Ffestiniog Railway to Blaenau Ffestiniog.
Road traffic is stopped by lights when trains pass.
David Lloyd George was built at Boston Lodge by the Festiniog Railway Company (one F!) and completed in 1992.
It was named after the former Prime Minister and Caernarfon MP, who grew up locally and travelled on the railway when practising as a solicitor.
The loco was used to carry the Commonwealth Games torch in 2002 and the Olympic torch in 2012.
I took this video during Bygones Weekend, an annual celebration of the Ffestiniog Railway.
