It’s all systems go for the #VictorianHeartHospital rooftop helipad, following a series of Air @Ambulance Victoria test flights! 🚁
Now in operation, the helipad will play a vital role in faster emergency care and safer transport of critically ill patients. Around three cardiac patients are expected to arrive by air each week from across Victoria.
Check out the first test landing and take-off, and hear from Andrew McKenzie, a MICA Flight Paramedic from Ambulance Victoria.
