The EU is now discussing options for Ukraine’s early accession to the EU by 2027. One of the plans under discussion is “reverse enlargement” which would see Ukraine receiving the protection that comes with the EU membership from the beginning. The EU still faces a few obstacles in this regard, such as Viktor Orban who is not on board with Ukraine becoming an EU member. The EU is now discussing options with regards to Viktor Orban.
