What is emotional abuse? It's when a person breaks you to the point that you think the abuser has power over you and can control you. It's a toxic relationship that's meant to harm you. It can happen to anyone. It can happen with a friend, coworker, teacher, even a family member. It's important to realize when something is toxic for you and you need to let go. Now I'm not saying that every toxic relationship is abusive, but a lot are.

This video has been in the making for at least 6 months now. I got the idea awhile back when I was watching S2 of Jessica Jones. There's not enough out there about emotional abuse, I don't think I've ever seen a fan-made video about it before. I've seen some for other just as serious topics, even for domestic abuse, but not for this. It could be out there, I just personally haven't seen it. And I wanted to help spread awareness to this topic, as it is extremely important. Abuse can screw with you, make you think you're crazy and delusional for thinking someone is a terrible person. It can even make you think other people are bad for you when they're not. If you think you have a toxic relationship with someone, whether it's abusive or not, seek help and get a better understanding on what you need to do from there.

This video is also personal to me, but I wanted to bring awareness to the topic itself and maybe help others if they're in (or were in) a toxic environment too. I do wanna give special thanks to my friends Stephanie and Jenna for sending me some of the scenes in this. And to everyone else that's watched my previews and patiently waited for me to finish this.
