This week on our big lap of Oz, we drive straight through Cairns and stay up the hill at Kuranda. What an amazingly tranquil little place compared to the hustle and bustle of the big city below.
We stayed here for a few days as we toured around the area, doing the amazing sky rail and train journey, checked out Barron Falls, ripped up to Port Douglas and took in the amazing sites of the Kuranda markets and butterfly sanctuary.
Kuranda is a place well worth stay if you are in the area and want to escape the commercialized city below.
