The second storm in a one-two punch to Northern California brought more treacherous winter driving conditions, causing a car to slide off the road and down an embankment into trees. The occupant suffered no injuries, and California Highway Patrol got on scene to help the driver. Snowplows continued to clear I-80 over Donner Summit, while snowblowers kept parking lots free of snow. The storm is forecast to bring upwards of a foot or more of snow.
