Before the 30 September 2026 vote on its merger with Evernorth, shareholders of the SPAC Armada Acquisition Corp. II could redeem each share for about $10.52 from a trust of about $241.9M (record date 20 August, per the proxy). Evernorth now expects only about $48M of trust proceeds, which implies roughly four in five trust dollars were redeemed. That is our estimate from company figures; the final count has not been published. We explain how a SPAC trust protects investors, benchmark the result against Houlihan Capital's Q2 2026 SPAC report (median redemption 90.8%, SPACInsider data) and show why redemptions do not remove any of the ~473M XRP, most of which came in kind.
