Описание: Hema Malini is an Indian actor, writer, director, producer, dancer and politician. She is an avid devotee of Ma Indira Devi and has been under the aegis of Ma since the 1970s. Ms. Malini is a trained classical Indian dance performer in the styles of Bharatnatyam, Kuchipudi and Mohini Attam. She has acted in 150 plus films, delivering numerous jubilee hits while starring opposite almost all the top actors of the time. Simultaneous with her foray into the technical areas of film and TV production, Hema Malini brought centre-stage the art of dance choreography. She has choreographed stage musicals such as the Ramayan, Mira, Savitri and Durga, presented by her institution, the Natyavihar Kalakendra. Hema Malini has been awarded the Padma Shri for her contribution to Indian films and the arts, by the President of India. She is also a recipient of several Lifetime Achievement awards for her contribution to Indian Cinema and the world of Art and Culture, and the Stree Ratna Award. The Government of India honored Hema Malini with Membership in the Parliament of India in 2004.
