Her breakthrough came in 2017 with the reality show 'Rising Star India,' propelling her into the national spotlight. Since then, Maithili has captivated audiences with her performances of traditional songs, bhajans, and classical pieces in various languages, including Hindi, Maithili, Bhojpuri, and more. In 2024, she was honored with the Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar by the Sangeet Natak Akademi for her contribution to folk music.
