What is uncommon is for an entire family to vanish into thin air, leaving behind no trace at all. What happens when 3 generations of a family all disappear as if they never existed? What happens is that Scotland Yard spirals into one of the most complex manhunts in UK history, traveling to 4 countries and collecting 4000 documents to solve a case that drove the world insane.
