subtitles:
The pieces of insulation are to block the sun rising on this side early in the morning - so you can sleep late...
Manfrotto professional tripod with fluid video head...
Photo presentation to be continued tomorrow...
Telephoto zoom lens (100-400)mm - is so heavy -
that the tripod mount is on the lens and not on camera this time...
This one is an older Canon 5D Mark3 photo/video camera...
This is an external 7" monitor...
Yes, this is just one of my cameras...
We will hook up everything tomorrow - and you will be able to play with it...
This is the whole system. It's not just the camera.
You need the "glass" - interchangeable lenses of different focal lengths.
You need a cage to hold other accessories like:
external monitor,
external microphone,
on camera LED light,
large capacity battery to supply power to all the devices...
This telephoto's maximum focal length is 400 mm.
In Brooklyn NY - there is this church which was converted into a music hall and art gallery.
I used to stand at the end of this church - while the stage was on the very far front -
and I could see a person's face because of this lens magnification of 8 times at its maximum length.
Lens 50 mm is considered to be "normal" - as what we (people) see.
Magnification @ focal length of 50 mm = 1.
Magnification @ focal length of 400 mm = 400/50 = 8 times.
The opposite to telephoto lenses are wide angle lenses i.e. 14 mm -
they see everything from close up.
The good lens for portraits would be 50-80 mm -
with shallow depth of field -
as they can separate the face from the background.
In such a portrait the face would be sharp and the background would be slightly out of focus...
Other accessories you would need are flashlights or studio lights,
light-meter to measure the brightness of a scene,
Liam is asking what is the video camera I'd recommend for him to buy...
There is the Canon photo/video camera that I like to have -
and that is Canon R5 C.
I want to buy Canon because I already have the collection of lenses - which can be used with Canon cameras (with RF2EF adapter).
"Glass" (or the set of lenses) can be much more expensive than the camera itself. So buying another video camera (i.e. SONY a7RV) makes no sense - as I'd have to also buy new lenses for different system...
It's not just the camera that you need.
You also have to buy the "cage" - to attach all the accessories like:
lights
monitor
microphones
master battery...
Any you will need to buy the stabilization for the heavy camera.
Not the one like for the GoPro.
KARMA Stabilization for (old) GoPro cameras - has 3 engines that compensate for the movement of your hand - smoothing the footage this way while you walk, bike or ski...
Stabilization for heavy cameras is much different...
Quick release mechanism to free up the camera and change the lens...
The new original Canon telephoto zoom (100-400) lens is $10,000++.
I bought it used for $6k...
Sometimes even 6 batteries is not enough.
They get cold, they get old - they die fast...
You can buy the master battery which will supply power to all the devices attached to your cage...
When you have the big camera in the cage -
with all the accessories attached to it -
this setup is no longer movable -
you have to place it on the heavy tripod
and film from the stationary position...
When I go to film an event in NYC -
I park the car somewhere - then I have to walk with all this heavy equipment
and tripods to the gallery and sometimes this is a dangerous place...
Then I set up the tripods by taping them down to the floor -
because people walking around sometimes kick the tripod by accident...
I only have one drone.
I would like to buy either
A1 ANTIGRAVITY by INSTA360
or DJI mini 5 Pro - but that's also a lot of $...
Goodnight kochanie...
Have a goodnight guys...
Повторяем попытку...
