A deeper understanding of the art of porcelain can surely enhance our dining experience. Therefore, I sincerely invite you visiting the exhibition "Brilliance" at the Hong Kong Palace Museum.
"Brilliance" features many Ming ceramic treasures, and my favorite is the sweet white glaze. Literati in the late Ming dynasty called this type of white glaze “sweet white”, as its pure, smooth and shiny appearance evokes a sense of sweetness. Glazes come in a variety of colors, white, red, blue, green, purple, yellow, and many others.
The exhibition also screens a short film explaining the porcelain-making process. For a deeper insight, attending exhibition talks and listening to expert commentary, you're sure to learn something profound. If you're still not satisfied after viewing the exhibits and listening to the talks, why not try participating in a workshop held by the museum? Creating your own artwork and displaying it in your home, you'll surely be able to add a touch of art to your cozy space.
