Chuck Eye Steak.
With grocery prices soaring, I see the need to start cooking balling on a budget cuts of meat. Chuck eye steaks are a solid cut that is very similar to a ribeye but half the price. Harder to find but if you talk to your butchers they can point you in the right direction.
Method: For thicker cuts I like to use the keep on flipping method.
Start off with 2 minutes each side on medium high heat and flip every minute till its to your desired internal temp. 130-135: Medium Rare, 135-140: Medium, and anything past that, refer to another page 😂
I like to baste around 5-6 minute mark depending on thickness. For better results, turn your heat down to low at this point. Adding a little oil will help butter not burn so quickly as well.
