In Johnson County, the sheriff used Flock to track a woman who was seeking an abortion. The sheriff had access to cameras in Illinois, where abortion is legal, and was able to use this information to track the woman's every movement.

Despite Flock Safety having a policy against using its system for deportation purposes. ICE agents work with DPS and local law enforcement to access Flock systems to track immigrant communities for targeted deportations.

A Lieutenant used the Flock system to track his ex-wife’s movements for over a month, pinpointing her locations and sending intimidating text messages describing her exact location.
