Late December in 2014 we camped at Killalea State Park.
I'd been there before, so I knew where I wanted to take the group for our day hike. We walked down to and around Killalea Lagoon; onto The Farm Beach for our lunch, and some went in for a swim. Then we continued along the coast to Mystics Beach, another spot for a dip in the ocean. Then we walked back through the coastal bush to the Minnamurra River and back up to camp. It was a great way to spend a couple of days. We'll be back for sure.
