How to MIX DRUMS For METAL in Ableton

Whether you're using Toontrack, Get Good Drums, Counterkit, within Cubase, Ableton, Protools, Logic Pro or any other DAW, these techniques will help you make your midi drums sound real. There are many steps involved as far as compression, eq, and general shape and tone, so today I include all the essentials before the parallel compression stage.

Drums can transform a song from being mediocre to amazing. These principles are used in a Metal setting.
