A common issue causing misfire condition and codes such as P0305, P0306, P0307, P0308, ETC on 2004-2012 Ford F series and Econoline vans equipped with the 4.6L engine can be the result of a failure of the intake manifold gasket and subsequent coolant leakage and intrusion of ignition coils causing a breakdown of secondary ignition system components. The fix usually involves replacement of the intake manifold gaskets, the coolant crossover pipe gaskets, the thermostat and seal, flushing coolant and replacing necessary ignition system components such as ignition coils, spark plug boots, spark plugs, ETC. watch this video for helpful information to address this common problem.
