With little over a month until our next big day out together, one of my best mates Scot Easter and myself took on the challenge of riding the West Highland Way, followed by the Great Glen Way...in under 24 hours...
Supported by Scot's girlfriend Phoebe and one of her good friends Grace (and Stu on hand at the end after just finishing NC500 himself), we set off in the early hours of Saturday morning to take on the BIG day out in the saddle.
We knew we were quite out of our comfort zone, as both of us are not known for our super long distance rides and are more at home on the XC circuit or a 1hr cyclocross race. So, we aimed to raise as much money for a charity close to our hearts, Ride For Charlie.
