Mahsobko Indas was first written over 100 years ago by Egyptian singer and composer Sayed Darwish. Considered the father of Egyptian popular music and one of Egypt’s greatest musicians, the song tells the story of his surprise bankruptcy, and shock at not being able to carry out his usual spending habits.

The video was the brain child of Omar Donga, who wanted to focus on the collaboration between Nehal Kamal and Stephan Pugh, and showcase aspects of their culture within their respective home countries of Egypt and England. The video features family and friends of them both, and places local to where they live.
