Hello everyone, this video is a part of series of videos where we will discuss all the important units that we encounter in physical chemistry in our class 11 & 12. Here in this video which is part-II, I continue discussion of units that we see in atomic structure.
I explain in the start expression of energy of nth orbit in Bohr model for Hydrogen and Hydrogen like species. One of most important constants i.e. Rydberg constant is explained thoroughly. The value of Rydberg constant in various units is explained. After detailed discussion on Rydberg constant, De Broglie expression for wavelength and Heisenberg Uncertainty principle expressions are explained along with the units. At the last, numericals are taken from each equation to clearly understand the concept of units.
